About Us
Celebrating 20 years of LIMCA
Founded in 2003, the Liverpool Malayalee Cultural Association (LIMCA) stands as a beacon among Malayalee associations in the UK. Renowned for its pioneering vision, forward-thinking approach, groundbreaking programmes, and exceptional leadership, LIMCA consistently places the needs and aspirations of the Malayalee community at the forefront.
LIMCA, a non-profit voluntary community organisation, serves as a vital platform for the Kerala community residing in Liverpool and surrounding regions. Our mission is to facilitate meaningful interactions, encourage dialogue, and cultivate lasting friendships among members while preserving and celebrating our rich cultural heritage. Moreover, we are committed to promoting the personal growth and empowerment of the Malayalee community. While integrating with the local community at large, we also try to retain our own identity – cultural as well as social. LIMCA strives for this twin objective.
Over the past two decades, LIMCA has spearheaded a multitude of events and initiatives aimed at enhancing the wellbeing and advancement of our community. Looking back, we are humbled by the remarkable path we have travelled. To the Malayalee community in Merseyside, we extend our deepest gratitude for standing by us steadfastly, through every challenge and triumph. Your unwavering support fuels our passion and drives us to tirelessly strive for the advancement of our community.
To those who have recently arrived in Merseyside, we warmly welcome you to join us and become a part of our family – The LIMCA Family. We are confident that your involvement with LIMCA will not only enrich your lives but also propel us towards even greater accomplishments. Let us join hands in this mission for the betterment of the Malayalee community in Merseyside.
