LIMCA Childrens Fest 2025

Join us for the vibrant and joyful LIMCA Children’s Fest 2025 — a special day dedicated to celebrating the talents, creativity and heritage of our children. This festival is organised by the Liverpool Malayalee Cultural Association (LIMCA) and provides a platform for young people to express themselves, have fun and shine in a supportive environment.
What to expect
Children from four different age-categories will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of competitions, including:

Memory Test (Beginners)

Colouring & Pencil Sketching

Fancy Dress

Light Song (Malayalam)
-
Public Speaking (in English or Malayalam)

Single & Group Cinematic Dance

Bharatanatyam
-
Single Folk Dance

Poetry Recital (Malayalam)

Painting
Theme prompts for painting and public speaking will be published one week before the event. Group dances require a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 8 per team.
Age categories (as at 31 August 2025)

Beginners: Born 1 Sept 2020 or later

Sub-Juniors: Born between 1 Sept 2016 and 31 Aug 2020

Juniors: Born between 1 Sept 2012 and 31 Aug 2016

Seniors: Born between 1 Sept 2008 and 31 Aug 2012
Registration & Fees

Fee: £7.00 per child (includes meal)

Discounted fee for paid LIMCA members: £5.00 per child

Payment to be made to the Liverpool Malayalee Cultural Association account by 2 November 2025

Each child must be submitted on a separate form

Children’s snacks and/or meals will be provided. Accompanying adults or siblings may purchase meals (cash only) – options include vegetarian or non-vegetarian main meal, snacks only, or drinks/water.
